AMATH 342: Intro to Neural Coding and Computation

Here's a tidbit from my application to the neural computation and engineering app:

This was one of the most arduous yet fulfilling classes I’ve taken at UW thus far; dissecting multi-dimensional data sets and implementing rudimentary artificial neurons reminded me of the pleasure associated with and strengthened my skills in scientific data analysis. Furthermore, the analysis was all based on simulations of practical applications, taken from real data sets or accurate models, which made the completion of each report twice as fulfilling. We used only a few pages of the textbook once, but I kept it because I was certain I’d use it again in the near future.
